Grades

CU Learn
All homework will be submitted through CULearn. CULearn is also used for feedback on graded work and for recording all your grades.
Late Homework
Homework will be accepted up to 72 hours after the deadline with a 6% penalty. No homework will be accepted after that point, so please submit your work within 72 hours of the deadline even if the work is only partly completed.
Missed Exams or Quizzes
Makeup exams or quizzes can be arranged only if you let Michael know at least 24 hours ahead of time or if an unavoidable problem causes you to miss class. Other missed exams or quizzes will be recorded as a zero score.
Course Grade
The four 100-point exams and will count for 40% of your grade, and the homework will count for the other 60%. I will, of course, use a computer program to determine your course percentage as:

    percentage = 0.6*h/H + 0.4*e/400

In the formula, h is your number of homework points, H is the maximum possible homework points, and e is your number of exam points. Your course grade is computed by your percentage:

Percentages will not be rounded, so even one point can be important. Please do let us know if there are any grading errors as soon as possible.
